Hi, My name is Massiel Diaz, mother of two beautiful boys, wife,medical intern and business owner. During both my pregnancies I realized the level of support that women require during their motherhood journey.

 

I myself was focused on tending to my patients and making sure other mothers were advocated for as my focus during my medical training was always gynecology and obstetrics. At the same time I was losing myself in motherhood, feeling as though people around me didn't really “get it”.

 

From struggling with infertility to having high risk pregnancies, and raising two boys close in age I was getting lost in motherhood and my medical career. Living under the Society stigma that women have to always have it all figured out in every aspect of their lives, because we must be “super women ''. Pearly Moms is exactly what I needed during those times.
